Jabra Biz 2300 QD Duo headset review

Jabra Biz 2300 QD Duo is designed to connect to desk phone systems in contact centre environments. The built quality of the headset is good and gives a professional feel. It features a 360 degree rotating break-proof boom-arm and Kevlar-reinforced cord. The headset is not bulky at all. The company boasts that the product is built with total cost of ownership in mind for businesses. The quality of the device appears promising and it seems that the headset will last longer even in rough usage.

This UC headset comes with in-line call controller unit which features buttons to pick up or end calls, put callers on or take them off hold, volume keys and mute button. Also, all buttons are user-programmable. It comes with a USB port and features instant plug to pay.

Audio quality: The headset is primarily made for professionals who are always hooked to calls. It is not meant for music. I made several Skype calls with it on a busy office environment. To test the noise cancellation feature, I asked the person on the other side of line about the clarity of my voice. In reply, he answered that he was able to hear some amount of background noises but could not make out what people around me was speaking nor he could listen clearly to the loud cricket commentary on a nearby television. This means, the noise-cancellation feature works well.

When the headset is tuned to highest volume, I found a bizarre sound of vibration. The clarity of calls is good. Also, the in-line controller comes will come handy for busy professionals. Overall, the performance is good.

Verdict: For busy professionals, the Jabra Biz 2300 QD Duo offers comfort and a good experience. Jabra has successfully managed to integrate good performance keeping comfort and easy of use in mind. Businesses might find worthwhile in investing in this headset in the long run.
