There is absolutely nothing like convenience of carrying a Windows PC in your pocket. With Windows 10, there has been an onslaught of PC-on-stick devices promising true desktop experience on a simple USB like device.
From Intel’s Compute Stick to iBall’s Splendo, Windows 10 is making the desktop OS really mobile. Now InFocus has announced a new PC-on-stick device that ditches the stick design for a mobile phone like model. InFocus’s Kangaroo is a battery powered Windows 10 PC that is exactly modeled like a smartphone.
It works simply by connecting peripherals and has a backup of four hours. Of course it can be connected to a big screen but it also does connect to an iPad for Windows experience on a portable form factor. InFocus is also including a dock that includes a HDMI port and two USB ports.
As for specs, the Kangaroo is powered by an Intel Atom x5 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It is currently available from Newegg in US for $99 and it is unclear if this device will ever make its way to India.
