Casio launches GST calculator in India starting at Rs 395

Casio introduces two GST calculators- MJ-120GST and MJ-12GST in the Indian market for a price starting at Rs 395.

Casio brings new GST calculators MJ-120GST and MJ-12GST in India

Casio, the Japanese electronics company has launched new GST calculator in India. The company has introduced two GST calculators- MJ-120GST and MJ-12GST in the Indian market for a price starting at Rs 395. Both the calculators will be available for purchase on leading stationery stores in the country.

Casio mentioned that the new GST calculators are meant to provide solutions for GST based invoicing. The calculators feature built-in GST tabs for all five tabs- 0%, 5%, 12%, 18% and 28% and include separate buttons for the GST slabs to reduce the time required for processing invoice. The tax slab buttons that include GST+0, GST+1, GST+2, GST+3, GST +4 are changeable as per ‘industry standards.’ These five buttons will store Gross value (net value+ Tax), net value and tax paid under GST slabs, Casio cited in its press release.

The new Casio GST calculators feature a tax-mode application as well that will help taxpayers and traders to calculate the base value of products by deducting tax from MRP. The MJ-120GST calculator comes with a GST+/tax- key that can calculate values in multiple formats i.e., gross value from the base value in GST+ mode and base value from the gross value in Tax- mode. The GST GT key in the calculator can further determine the gross value of a GST based calculation. The MJ-120GST is priced at Rs 475 in India.
