Canon has launched the world’s highest-resolution full-frame DSLR cameras and a new 4K Professional video camera in India.

Canon’s EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR come with a resolution of 50.6 megapixels and are full-frame cameras. While the EOS 5DS is priced  at Rs 2,52,995, the EOS 5DSR is priced at Rs 2,65,995. The XC10 4K professional video camera is priced at Rs 1,70,000.

EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR are the new flagship cameras from Canon and have a 35 mm full-frame CMOS sensor. In addition to this, they feature a new ‘Fine Detail’ picture mode which will allow photographers to configure sharpness level when capturing photos. They also have a 150,000-dot RGB+IR metering and automatic exposure system which ensure accurate exposure and colour tones even in poor lighting conditions.

Both EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR feature the latest DIGIC 6 image processors which allow for maximum continuous shooting speed for 5.0 fps, says Canon. Canon says these cameras are aimed at those who are in the professional photography segment.
