What are the features of AutoGPT?
As listed on the page, Auto-GPT has internet access for searches and information gathering, long-term and short-term memory management, GPT-4 instances for text generation, access to popular websites and platforms, and file storage and summarization with GPT-3.5.
The application runs on Python 3.8 or later, OpenAI API key, and PINECONE API key. Among its limitations, the authors have stated that AutoGPT is not a polished application or product and that it is just an experiment. It may not perform well in complex, real-world business scenarios. The authors have also sought results from users in case the application performs well for them. Besides, it is quite expensive to run and the authors have advised users to set and monitor API key limits with OpenAI.
What can AutoGPT do?
AutoGPT can leverage the power of GPT-4 to autonomously develop and manage businesses. One of the models is designed to help “increase the net worth of businesses through data-driven decisions.”
