WWE on Wednesday announced at a press conference at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh that the first-ever WWE women’s match in Saudi Arabia will take place on October 31 at Crown Jewel pay-per-view.
WWE Superstars Natalya and Lacey Evans will perform at one of WWE’s premier pay-per-view events, which also features Roman Reigns, the undefeated lineal heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, Universal Champion Seth Rollins and many more.
It may be recalled here that WWE was unable to feature a match with the female superstars in Saudi Arabia till date. It was rumored that Alexa Bliss would wrestle during the last visit. However, that never materliased. So fans on Twitter are still asking whether they can see a match this Thursday?
It would certainly be a feather in the cap of WWE if they were able to get a women’s match added as they would take credit for progress they’ve made in women’s rights in Saudi Arabia.
