US Open, year’s last Grand Slam, has moved into its second week. While Rafael Nadal’s exits has been the shocker till now, heat in New York has also taken a toll on the players and also on the crowd.
But the crowd has been the show stealer in most of the matches. On Monday, Ekaterina Makarova and Kristina Mladenovi were fighting it out in the middle, tied 1-1 in the match. All eyes were on the two players when everything changed a boy in the stand grabbed everyone’s attention.
The little spectator started showing dance moves and the big screen also showed his dance to which the crowd cheered. This was during the break between games.
Mladenovi made it to her first US Open quarter-final after a 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 win over Makarova but the little boy in the stands was the winner for the spectators.
