Sania Mirza ‘humbled’ after Padma Bhushan honour

On Monday, Sania Mirza was also honoured at the NRI of the Year Award 2016.

India’s ace tennis player Sania Mirza received the Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian honour from President Pranab Mukherjee at a glittering function at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Tuesday.

It has been a good year for Sania so far where she has the Australian Open with Martina Hingis and ended the doubles winning streak at 41. Post the honour, Sania shared a picture on her official Twitter account.

On Monday, Sania was also honoured at the NRI of the Year Award 2016.
