Serena to face Kerber in final; Paes-Hingis, Sania-Hingis lose: Wimbledon Day 10 As it happened

Serena Williams and Angelique Kerber will meet in the women's singles final of Wimbledon after their straight set wins in the semis.

Serena Williams swept Elena Vesnina aside in under an hour to book a place in the women’s singles final where she’d play her Australian Open conquerer Angelique Kerber. Kerber beat Venus in straight sets to deny an-all-Williams clash. It was yet another bad day for Indian players with Leander Paes, Sania Mirza and Karman Kaur Thandi all losing their respective doubles matches.
