WWE on Tuesday night suspended Joe Anoa`i – who goes by the name Roman Reigns – for 30 days for violation of talent wellness policy.
This is Reigns’ first violation of the company’s policy which means the suspension is for 30 days. The decision goes into force immediately.
Reigns issued a statement on Twitter regarding his suspension.
I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.

Only on Monday night RAW, Reigns and Seth Rollins were confirmed to headline at WWE Battleground as contenders for WWE World Heavyweight title against Dean Ambrose.
