WWE Raw on September 19 culminated in the most dramatic fashion as the main event was set for a steel cage featuring Roman Reigns and WWE Universal champion Kevin Owens. It also saw Seth Rollins take on Rusev while Reigns was rewarded with a United States title match opportunity at the Clash of Champions against the Bulgarian Brute.

Last week, Owen ended Raw on the upper hand but things turned around completely this week. There were flurry of exchanges and blows between him and Reigns in the steel cage contest that was to draw Raw to a close. While it wasn’t a good night for Owens, it wasn’t an easy win for ‘The Dog’ either. The contest was eventually decided by a slender of margins with Reigns, who climbed over the cage, for the escape touched the floor before Owens who opted to crawl through the door.

However, that wasn’t the end of the show. In fact, it got interesting right after the match concluded. That’s when Rusev rushed down to the ring and with the help of Owens, attacked Reigns and locked the door. Seeing his former The Shield member in trouble, Rollins came to his aid and climbed atop the cage and delivered a perfect crossbody slam into Owens and Rusev.
