The new US President Donald Trump is new to the field of politics and he’s already done wonders in approximately 18 months to go from an outside chance for a nominee, to an actual presidential nominee, to unlikely winner and now to the new President. And he’s already had a stint in sporting world too and in an unlikely arena at that.

Trump is an important part of the WWE and has previous appearances in the wrong – once where he was left embarrassed and then when he was left smiling inside the ring.
In fact, the billionaire Trump has multiple high profile properties with the Trump Plaza casino hosting the fourth edition of the Wrestlemania and then Wrestlemania V in back-to-back years in the 1980s – something that is rarely done in the WWE world.
Then in 2007, he was much closer to the ring at the Wrestlemania. In a wager of hair-vs-hair, Trump chose Bobby Lashley to represent him in the ring and WWE chairman Vince McMahon picked Umaga. In the end, Lashley came out as the winner and Trump shaved McMahon’s head off.
However there was a caveat to this contest. Stone Cold Steve Austin came in dressed as a referee and played a key role in Lashley’s win.
Later, in 2009, the new US President became the owner of the company as part of the storyline which caused the company stock to fall! But irrespective of the financial suffering, Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
