India’s Olympic silver medallist Ravi Dahiya pulled out from the Bishkek Ranking Series due to knee injury.

“According to the Indian coaching staff, the Tokyo Olympic silver medalist injured his knee while warming up and won’t compete in Bishkek,” United World Wrestling said in a statement.

In January, earlier this year, Dahiya was one of the leading faces of the wrestlers protest against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, accused of sexually harassing seven female wrestlers, including a minor.

However, this time around Dahiya had maintained a steadfast silence on the issue.
