Maharashtra netball player dead at National Games

A netball player from Maharashtra, who was a participant of the ongoing national games in Thiruvananthapuram, died following a cardiac arrest.

Mayuresh Pawar, 21, collapsed after the end of the match between Maharashtra and Chandigarh held at Vellayani near here. Although he was rushed to a nearby hospital, doctors said he was brought death.

Kerala Sports Minister said the state government would take all necessary steps  to send his body back home.
