Archery World Cup: Indian compound women’s archery team clinch gold
The Indian trio of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Parneet Kaur and Aditi Swami grabbed their third successive Archery World Cup gold medal, beating Turkey 232-226 in a lopsided compound women's team final at the stage two event.

(PTI) The Indian women’s archery team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Parneet Kaur and Aditi Swami clinched their third successive Archery World Cup medal after registering an easy 232-226 win over Turkey in Yecheion, Korea. It was an overall easy sailing for the Indian women’s team, who got a bye into the quarters after finishing second in the qualifying round.
Later in the day, in the mixed compound archery event, Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Priyansh won the silver medal. The Indian pair lost 153-155 against the USA pair Sawyer Sullivan Olivia Dean in the final.
The world number one Indian compound women’s team dominated Turkey’s Hazal Burun, Ayse Bera Suzer and Begum Yuva right from the first end and sealed the gold without dropping a set, with a healthy six-point margin.
