Sai Baba devotee Sachin to play today

Sachin skipped his birthday celebrations in wake of Sathya Sai Baba's death.

Sachin Tendulkar,who skipped his birthday celebrations in the wake of Sathya Sai Baba’s death,decided to go ahead with playing the Mumbai Indians IPL match against Deccan Chargers here on Sunday.

“Yes,I am playing the match,” Tendulkar told reporters as he boarded the team bus to go to the Hyderabad International Cricket stadium where the match is scheduled on Sunday.

Tendulkar,a devotee of Baba,arrived here late last night with his wife Anjali and two kids.

The iconic batsman turned 38 today but is believed to have skipped celebrations in view of Baba’s death,sources in the hotel where he was staying said.
