Pro Kabaddi 2017: Gujarat Fortunegiants seal final berth, Patna Pirates beat Puneri Paltan 42-32

Pardeep Narwal produced another clinical performance as Patna Pirates keep their hopes of third Pro Kabaddi title alive.

After 34 points against Haryana Steelers, Pardeep Narwal scored 19 points against Puneri Paltan.

Gujarat Fortunegiants sealed their place in the Pro Kabaddi final after thrashing Bengal Warriors 42-17. Bengal will, however, have a second chance to reach the final if they win the second qualifier against Patna Pirates. Fazel, Abozar kept their defnce strong while Sachin and Mahendra Rajput pierced through Warriors defence.  Later, two-time defending champions Patna Pirates came from behind to beat Puneri Paltan 42-32. Pardeep, who scored 34 points against Haryana Steelers, scored 19 points against Pune to see his side cross the line. Patna Pirates next face Bengal Warriors in the semifinal. Pune captain Deepak scored nine points, and kept his side in the game before Patna went on to extend their lead.
