Pro Kabaddi 2017 (season 5), Gujarat Fortunegiants vs Patna Pirates: In the first match of Pro Kabaddi season 5, Chennai leg, Puneri Paltan got the better of hosts Tamil Thalaivas, beating them 33-20. The Ajay Thakur-led side failed to start their home leg against Puneri Paltan on a winning note. In the second match on Friday, Gujarat Fortunegiants squared off against Patna Pirates in a clash of the Titans. Both the teams came in with a win over Dabang Delhi but it was Gujarat to get the better of Patna, despite trailing in the beginning. Gujarat registered the win with a very small gap of 30-29.
