IPL Points Table 2025: Gujarat slips out of top 2 after Rajasthan stunner, Sai Sudharsan pips Virat Kohli in most runs list

The mercurial Rajasthan Royals landed a stunning punch for Gujarat Titans’ hopes of taking the top spot in the standings as they recorded a blistering eight-wicket win at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur in a 210-run chase on Monday.

Manning the chase was young Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal who helped the Royals canter to the win  in only 15.5 overs. Suryavanshi dazzled the home crowd with a spectacular 35-ball hundred, making the 14-year-old the youngest batter in T20 history to record a century. The flamboyant left-hander also became the second-quickest centurion in IPL history, only behind Chris Gayle’s 30-ball ton in 2013. Jaiswal chipped in with an unbeaten half-century that eventually inflicted GT a heavy defeat that slipped them from No. 2 to 3 in the standings while RR gained a spot to No. 8 in the standings.

Orange Cap standings updated after RR vs GT match

Sai Sudharsan won back the Orange Cap from Virat Kohli, who had struck a half century off 45 balls against Delhi Capitals. Sudharsan struck 39 off 30 balls against Rajasthan in Jaipur.

Purple Cap standings updated after RR’s win over GT
