Rajasthan Royals (RR) spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Sunday became the joint-highest wicket taker in the history of IPL during the side’s clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Chahal, on Sunday night finished with an impressive spell of 4/29 in four overs at an economy of 7.20.

He achieved the feat with SRH skipper Aiden Markaram’s wicket.

The 32-year-old leg spinner now has 183 wickets to his credit and shares the milestone with former CSK all-rounder Dwayne Bravo.

Earlier, the spinner scalped the wickets of Anmolpreet Singh, Rahul Tripathi, and wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen.

Meanwhile, other bowlers who have most wickets to their credits in the history of the Indian Premier League are Piyush Chawla (174 wickets), Amit Mishra (172 wickets) and Ravichandran Ashwin (171 wickets).

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated the Royals by 4 wickets in a dramatic last over finish in Jaipur.
