Indian junior hockey team displayed a spectacular performance and that reflected in the scoreline against USA in the Sultan of Johar Cup match on Wednesday. Harmanjeet Singh and Abhishek shone as the duo scored four goals each to silence the opponents 22-0 in Malaysia and register their third consecutive win in the tournament.
The Indian side lost no time and scored their first goal in the second minute through Pratap Lakra. Vishal Antil and Dilpreet Singh added to the scoreline with a hattrick each. Others to add to India’s spectacular scoreline were Rabichandra Moirangthem, Raushan Kumar, Maninder Singh, Shilanand Lakra and Vivek Prasad.

India have dominated in both the previous games as well. Previously, India defeated Malaysia 2-1 and pipped Japan 3-2 in their opening round encounter of the Sultan of Johor Cup.
Hockey has been the sport for India this month. The senior team remained unbeaten in their Asia Cup campaign and won the title with 2-1 win over Malaysia in the final on Sunday.
