It was a great day for Barcelona and Valencia. Atletico and Real were unable to break each other’s defence and towards the end, both sets of players looked tired and frustrated. Cristiano Ronaldo could not do much but the same can be said about Karim Benzema, Antoine Griezmann and Yannick Carrasco. Even a brilliant one-two between Fernando Torres and Kevin Gameiro. This was a day that was dominated by the likes of Diego Godin, Lucas Hernandez, Raphael Varane and the bloody nose of Sergio Ramos. It means that the Madrid giants trail first-placed Barcelona by 10 points and second-placed Valencia by three.
