Sources say Manchester United are in talks to sign former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
The 32-year-old Valdes has been at United training with the first team since October while rehabilitating from a knee injury.
The source says the Spaniard has been in talks about signing a contract to play for United, whose first-choice goalkeeper is David de Gea.
Valdes, who tore his anterior cruciate ligament March, has been a free agent since being released by Barcelona at the end of last season.
Valdes played under United manager Louis van Gaal at Barcelona.
