All Stars FC vs All Hearts FC, Live Celebrity Clasico: Virat Kohli and Ranbir Kapoor will be featuring in the match.

It was a goal fest but not one too entertaining for anyone who have even seen the Indian U-17 team play in the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup. This was an exhibition match but those involved did give it their all. MS Dhoni has a history with the game and you could see glimpses in his inch perfect passes and two goals from long range. The stadium was sparsely populated at the beginning but slowly filled up towards the end. Those who came there for the football would certainly be hoping they find something better than this if ISL matches are being played in Andheri next month.

All Stars FC vs All Hearts FC, Celebrity Clasico Highlights:

FULL TIME! All Hearts 7-3 All Stars.

92′ GOAL! Virat Kohli finally on target, scores right after the All Stars had nicked one in, the score is 6-3

87′ GOAL! Kedar Jadhav scores after Virat Kohli’s shot rebounds off the keeper

78′ There have been quite a few goal attempts from midfield over the past few minutes. One of them actually troubled the All Stars goalkeeper who had suffered a knock to his shoulder

64′ Well there seems to no way back for the All Stars, meanwhile, quite few faces popping in the All Hear dugout, Ashish Nehra and Zaheer Khan just two of them. Sunil Chettri barking orders from the touchline

57′ GOAL! Ranbir Kapoor scores for the All Stars, the game has six goals now divided 4-2 in favour of All Hearts

49′ Penalty for All Stars, Aniruddha Srikant takes it and SCORES, tries to the dab while celebrating with Kohli, not too succesful

HALF TIME: All Starts 1-3 All Hearts. Dhoni brace keeps the sports stars in front

41′ GOAL! Anuruddha Srikant heads in from a Virat Kohli

39′ GOAL! MS Dhoni on target once again

30′ Half an hour into the game, rolling substitutions are a bit of a help as the players get some time to cool themselves off

25′ Ranbir Kapoor takes a shot from well outside the box, the ball hits the crossbar and back into play, All Hearts clear their lines

20′ Abhishek Bachchan cheering his team from the touchline. Not much he can do when his side is not able to get into the opposition box.

17′ Well the All Stars are pushing for a goal now but the sportsmen defend resolutely. Doesn’t help that the All Stars wingers are not the greatest runners

12′ The only real highlight so far for the All Stars would be Ranbir Kapoor nicking the ball off Virat Kohli and running towards goal.

9′ Well the All Hearts clearly have the upper hand here. It seems Dhoni’s goal may have taken a deflection of a green shirt, but the goal is his

5′ GOAL! MS Dhoni takes a shot outside the goal and scores!

3′ Well the All Stars will have some trouble getting theough to goal. Apart from their already tired bodies, they have to deal with Indian hockey keeper PR Sreejesh

Kick Off: So the All Stars kick off the match, in green jerseys

1853 hrs IST: Players have walked 0ut on the field, the national anthem has been played we are minutes away from kick off.

1815 hrs IST: Hello and welcome to our coverage of the Celebrity Clasico. The celebrities from the film industry will be in the All Stars team while the cricketers will play for the All Hearts. Football is a part of the Indian team’s training routine and they regularly play one-touch so as to keep themselves warm before the match. In fact, during India’s washed out third T20I against Australia, the Hyderabad crowd could cheer whenever Kohli or Dhoni kicked the ball. But it is not just cricketers who are part of this. Tennis stars Rohan Bopanna and Leander Paes are expected to be part of it while Indian football captain Sunil Chettri is reported to be in the team. If true, the All Hears became favourites to win this match. Bollywood celebrities have increasingly invested in sports during recent years. Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan co-own Mumbai City FC and Chennaiyin FC who play in the Indian Super League. Football is hence not an entirely alien sport to the two sides.
