Kohli was seen reacting to the incident by putting his arm around the fan’s shoulder in a gesture of protection as security personnel came running after the fan.

The fan was then taken away by the security personnel, but Kohli was seen being concerned about the fan’s well-being, as he was seen saying something to the guards.
The fan had Kohli’s initials painted on his body and had a tatoo of Kohli’s name on his arm. His face also had VK written on it.
The fan was detained by police, PTI reported. The fan, identified as 22-year-old Suraj Bisht, is from Uttarakhand and works in Indore as a cook.
His identity is being verified and appropriate action would be taken, the police officer said.
