Avesh back in the attack and that's 2 singles from the first two deliveries as SRH are moving along nicely. 2 more runs as O' Rourke saves a boundary. A single next, followed by 2 more as SRH keep chipping away. 1 more to end.

Shardul in to bowl the 15th and gives away three from the first couple of deliveries. Mendis with another single to put Klaasen back on strike. He takesa  single and Mendis can see this one off. 6 from this one.

SRH 171/3 after 15 overs

Rathi will bowl the next over and Kamindu Mendis with a reverse hit to get 4!! Follows that up with another as a horrid misfield by Bishnoi lets t get through. It has not been his night. And that's another chip, over the bowler's head for another four!! Hattrick of boundaries!! Follows that up with a brace. Huge over this one. 17 from it.

SRH 165/3 after 14 overs

Shardul continues and Klaasen with a single to start this one off. Mendis with a single as well as the scorecard keeps ticking. Three more from the next couple as the SRH batters keep mining singles. 6 from this one. Nifty from Thakur.

SRH 148/3 after 13 overs

Rathi will bowl this one and KLaasen smashes him for a 6 before taking a single. And Kishan is gone!! He tries to go for a switch hit and he's cleaned up!!

Shardul Thakur introduced now and he is welcomed with a Klaasen boundary!! Straight into his hitting arc and the South African makes no mistake as he smashes it to the midwicket fence. Takes a single to give the strike to Kishan who rotates strike with a single of his own. And Kaasen gets a top edge and that's gone over the third man boundary for a 4!! 13 from this one.

Avesh back in the attack and Klaasen with a single off the first two deliveries. Back to back dots now. Kishan now gets hit on the helmet and he is getting checked for concussion. He's fine to continue. A single next and Klaasen can see this one off. A single to end.

Markram in the attack now and after a dot, Ishan plays the next ball fine for a boundary!! No one was patrolling those ropes. Takes a single next and Klaasen also plays a scoop to get 2 runs. A single next and Kishan is on strike again. Amd he ends the over with a six!! SRH motoring along.

Rathi back in the attack and gives away just a single from the first two deliveries as Ishan takes a single. Abhishek now on strike and Rathi has struck!!! Exactly what LSG needed!! The SRH batter went for a big hit again and this time, he has holed out to Shardul in the deep as Abhishek and Rathi has a face off with Rathi before he walks back.

Spin is in and Bishnoi introduced and he starts with a wide. It has been that kin of a season for him. Kishan takes a single off the second delivery to put Abhishek on strike. And he slams the next delivery straight over everyone's head for a 6!!! And he goes again and that's over the fence again forr his second six of the over!! This has sailed over long off. Oh dear!!! He slams another six, tis time straight and flat to bring up his half century in 18 balls. And would you know it!!! He's finished with another!!! 4 sixes off the over!!And the last one is through Pooran's hands!!

Avesh Khan to bowl the last over of the powerplay and he starts with a wide before Abhishek swivel pulls for a four to the long leg boundary. And he smashes another over mid on to get his second boundary of the over!! Swings and misses the next delivery before Avesh errs in line again for a wide. 3 more runs from the next couple and the over ends with another single.

Digvesh Rathi in the attack now and Ishan Kishan puts him for a four with an exquisite pull shot, off his back foot. Takes a single next and what can Abhishek do against the spinner? Just a single to end.

SRH 58/1 after 5 overs 

O'Rourke to bowl the 4th and after a dot, Abhishek slams him for a 4 and a 6!!! He looks in good nick tonight and that doesn't bode well for LSG. Takes a single next to put Kishan on strike. Just a single to end.

SRH 52/1 after 4 overs

Akash Deep to continue and Abhishek starts this one with a boundary!! Follows that up with a huge six as the fielder near the ropes can just watch it sail over him. A single next to put Ishan Kishan on strike. And he has started well as he slams a four witha  glorious cover drive!! LSG has reviewed for caught behind now. Nothing from it. Review lost. 

SRH 40/1 after 3 overs

O'Rourke to bwol the second over on his IPL debut and starts with a straight ball which Taide defends. Gets a thick edge next and that's flown over everyone to the third man boundary!! And the next one also goes to the ropes!! This one was deeliberate as Taide just guides it past point. Goes to the well one too many times and this time he's gone!! Top edge and straight into the waiting palms of Rathi!!

Atharva Taide and Abhishek sharma will start the run chase now and Akash Deep will bowl the first over. Starts with a single off the first three before Taide slams a boundary!! 9 from this over ultimately.

SRH 9/0 after 1 over

Nitish Kumar to bowl the last over and Pooran slams him for a 6 to start the over!!! And a wide next. Already 2 wides from this over. A single next and Samad has 4 more balls to play with. And Pooran's run out!! Great throw by Kishan and a bad decision to run might have cost LSG some runs. Shardul now on strike and he just scooped it past a vacant fine leg slip for a four!! And that's another run out!! Shardul is gone but Samad has strike now. AND GONE!! CLEANED HIM UP!!! And still LSG hasn't reached 200. And finally Akash Deep smashes a 6 to get LSG over 200. Lucknow finish with 205/7 

Last 2 overs now and SRH have done really well to stem the runs. LSG who intially looked to easily cross 200 will now do well to get to at least 200. Harshal to bowl the 19th and starts witha single as Samad puts Pooran on strike. Harshal with back to back wides now. And he is punished for a four next as Pooran reaches out and gets a streaky boundary. And it's a no ball to boot but SRH review and it stays a no ball. A single off the extra ball though. And SRH now review for caught behind but it's come off Samad's shoulder. A single next and Pooran can finish this over off. And he slams a four and a single.

LSG 185/4 after 19 overs

Malinga to bowl the 18th over and gives a single from the first two deliveries. Badoni on strike now and he can't get off the mark as the bowler keeps it tight. And he's gone the next ball!!! Badoni tries to go for the wideish delivery and holes out to Nitish Reddy in the deep.

Cummins to bowl out his quota with this over and new man Badoni with a single to go off strike. Pooran follows it up with a single of his own. Badoni with a hopeful shot that just goes over mid off for a single. Pooran finally gets a boundary as he slaps the next delivery over long on for a 4!!

Harshal Patel returns and he starts with a full toss and that's dispatched into the stands by Markram with a 6!!! And it's a no ball to boot!! Not the kind of start SRH would have hoped for after the break. Just a single off the extra ball though. And another 4!! On to Pooran's pads and that's gone to the short fine leg boundary. Markram on strike and Harshal finally gets something as the yorker goes through Markram to clean him up!!

Malinga back to bowl the 15th and Pooran takes a single to start this one. A dot next and Marsh with a single off his own. The runs are coming in a trickle after Marsh departed. And Pooran changes that with a guided for to deep backward point for a 4!! 

LSG 146/2 after 15 overs

Cummins brings himself back in the attack and yields 2 singles from the first 2 deliveries. A pretty quiet over this one with the LSG batters just dealing in singles. Just 6 from this one. Tight one from the SRH captain.

LSG 138/2 after 14 overs

Nitish Kumar Reddy in the attack and Markram with a single to bring up his half century!! Pooran on strike and he's off the mark with a streaky four before following that up with a brace. Back to back dots now as Markram struggles to get away. 8 from this one.

LSG 132/2 after 13 overs

Eshan Malinga back in the attack and he'll be bowling to Pant. And starts with a dot as Pant goes for a slog and misses the ball completely. Takes a single next and Markram is on strike. He takes a single as well and pant is put back on strike. And Pant finally gets a boundary as he pulls for a 4. AND HE'S GONE!!! Just flicks it back to the bowler and he takes it gratefullly!! Pant's rotten season continues.

Dubey now and Markram with a huge six to start this one off before taking a single. And he has taken MARSH!!! The Australian slices and Malinga takes a catch!! Finally, something breaks SRH's way.

Harshal back in the attack and he starts with two dots as Marsh finds fielders on both occasions. Nothing off the 3rd too as Patel keeps Marsh quiet for the time being. AAANND He has edged and it has flown over Kishan for a four to third man!! He managed to get a glove to it but can't hold on to it. And Marsh finds a gap once again as he smokes the next ball for a 4!! Umpires are checking a catch out now. Has Harshal caught the followthrough? Harshal did not appeal though. Very close. The umpire says the ball bounced before reaching Patel so not out.

LSG 108/0 after 10 overs

Zeeshan to bowl the next and Aniket has put one down!!! Just went through his fingers and Markram survives!! Oh how costly will that be? And another almost carries to Nitish but his dive misses the ball and it goes through him for a four!! 10 from this one.

LSG 100/0 after 9 overs

Dubey back and Marsh just slices the first ball over point for a four!! Unlucky for the bowler. 3 back to back singles next as the batters rapidly rotate strikes. And with a single to end and Marsh gets his half century.

LSG 90/0 after 8 overs 

Zeeshan Ansari now introduced in the attack now. Can he stem some runs and crucially, break this partnership? Markram on strike and he takes a single to start this over off. Back of the length again and Marsh takes a single of his own. Two more singles as the bowler manages to put the reins on tthe LSG openers. But with Markram in form, that was only temporary as he smashes the next ball over long on for a 6!!! Takes 2 more to end.

Last over of the powerplay and Eshan Malinga is brought into the attack. Marsh does not care as he welcomes him with a huge SIX!! Pulls and that's gone over the backward square leg boundary!! Back to back dots next as the bowler pulls some back. A single off the 4th and it does not get easier for Malinga as Markram guides the next delivery for a 4!! A single to end.

Harshal Patel to bowl the penultimate over of the powerplay and he starts with a wide. Marsh cuts the next ball over the extra cover boundary for a SIX!!! He is not relenting!! That's 50 up for LSG. Takes a single next and Markram can finish this one off. And he does it in style with a well-placed four and a single.

Dubey continues and oh dear dear!! What has Kishan done. There was a clear stumping opportunity on Markram and he has missed it!!  Marsh back on strike and he lofts one over the infield to get a boundary!! Wasn't cleanly struck but the power of Marsh manages to get it into the fence. Markram now with a belter of a shot as he slaps the 5th over the ropes for a 6!! Ends the over with another four!!

Cummins again and he will be bowling to Markram who defends the first delivery before driving at the second but still no run. He finally gets his engines revving with a timed shot for a four to through the mid-off region. Takes a single next and before Marsh guides the next ball for 2 runs. Ends the over with another brace.

LSG 28/0 after 3 overs

Harsh Dubey in to bowl on his debut and he almost gets Marsh in his very first delivery as the ball gets a bottom edge but Kishan can't get it behind the wicket. Marsh follows that with a nonchalant SIX over the long on ropes!! Two singles off the next couple of deliveries.

LSG 19/0 after 2 overs

Aussie vs Aussie now and Marsh wins the first exchange slapping Cummins for a boundary off the first ball!! Nice comeback by the bowler to keep it to just the 4 from the next two balls. Marsh does not waste the next ball though as he pulls it over the deep midwicket ropes for a SIX!!! A single to end.

Pat Cummins: I will have a bowl, you never know quite to make of the wicket so it's better to chase. We haven't played to our potential, so trying to hit our potential, we also had a few injuries. The team has been great, they have been honest that they haven't been at their best. Travis Head misses out and also Unadkat misses out for personal reasons, Harsh Dubey and Taide come in.

Rishabh Pant: We don't mind, we have got to do well. We are looking at one match at a time and not put undue pressure on ourselves. I feel as a team we have regrouped well and we are in a good space as a team. We have only one change, Will O'Rourke is making his debut.
