(AP Photo)Pakistan cricketer Shadab Khan opened up about cricketers texting female actors and claimed that sometimes things are blown out of proportion and the actors are looking for fame.
“Most female actors claim that cricketers send messages to them on social media, so have you ever messaged any actors?” asked a fan during a “Hasna Mana Hai” show on Geo News.
“Even if cricketers send messages, what is wrong with that?” Shadab Khan replied.
“Everybody has the option to block so if you don’t like then don’t reply, however, there are also replies from actors and they appear to show interest as well — as if they want to talk,” he added.
Shadab in the show also revealed that the cricketers do have discussions among themselves about who has texted the actors.
The 26-year-old said, “We have seen some videos in which things are exaggerated but it doesn’t turn out like that, some actors do it for fame, like during a tournament or World Cup such things come out because everyone is keeping their eyes on it.”
Last year Pakistan Tiktoker Shahtaj Khan said Shadab would talk to her on Whatsapp and Instagram and she proposed to marry him.
The Pakistan all-rounder has been married to Malaika for more than two years who is the daughter of veteran cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq. However, Shahtaj claims that she was unaware of Shadab’s marriage.
“I was disheartened after he got married, which I believe is quite normal when your crush marries someone else. I was talking to him even at that time but had no idea that he was about to get married,” she had said, adding that the Pakistan team’s all-rounder was well aware of his feelings as well,” Shahtaj would say.
Addressing these claims Shadab would say “There’s nothing like what’s being claimed.”
Another actress Nawal Saeed to claimed that some of the Pakistan cricketers send her messages.
