2016 is set to witness three cricket related movies come to life with all being biopics based on Indian cricketers. The release date for movie on Sachin Tendulkar hasn’t been decided yet but the teaser will go live on April 14th. The flick captures Tendulkar’s cricket and personal life in great detail with Sachin himself featuring in the movie. The movie is directed by James Erskine, a London-based award-winning writer, director and producer. The film will also reveal a few aspects of his life which have never been heard of or seen before.
A day prior to the teaser, more image work was released on Twitter courtesy tweets by Ajinkya Rahane who called Sachin his “mentor & inspiration” while Virat Kohli said, “It’s time to relive our legend, the one and only @sachin_rt”.

‘Azhar’ is an upcoming film directed by Tony D’Souza based on certain well known and highly talked about incidents surrounding former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 13 May 2016.
The third movie sees current limited overs captain MS Dhoni’s life be told through the direction of Neeraj Pandey with Sushant Singh Rajput playing ‘Dhoni’ in the film. The teaser of this movie was released on March 15, 2016 during India vs Pakistan at ICC World Twenty20.

Shah Rukh Khan also took to Twitter showing his interest in Sachin’s movie. To which Sachin replied that first he will watch his upcoming movie ‘Fan’ set to be released on April 15th.
