Pakistan vs Australia (PAK vs AUS) 3rd T20I: David Warner and skipper Aaron Finch added 109 for the first wicket as Australia defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets in the third final T20I in Perth on Sunday. With this victory, Australia also clinched the three-match T20I series, winning it 2-0. While Finch completed his half-century, Warner remained unbeaten on 48 from 32 deliveries as the duo wrapped up the contest with 49 balls to spare.

After being asked to bat first, Pakistan put up a shoddy show as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Apart from Iftikhar Ahmed, other Pakistani batsmen failed to resist the Aussie bowling attack as they could only manage a paltry 106/8 on the board.

With this victory, Australia win the three-match T20I series 2-0.

Australia inch close to series win!

Things are comfortable in the Australian camp as Finch and Warner take the Australian total to 75/0 after the end of 8 overs. Finch is playing on 33, while Warner is on 37.

Warner, Finch add 50 for first wicket!

Warner and Finch add 50 runs for the first wicket as Australia cruise to yet another victory. Skipper Finch has scored 31 from 20 balls, while his partner Warner has scored 18 from 14 deliveries. AUS: 51/0 (5.4 overs)

Warner, Finch off to a good start!

David Warner and Aaron Finch are scoring freely as the duo adds 22/0 at the end of three overs. While Warner is batting on 11 from 10 balls, Finch has scored 9 from 8 deliveries.

MISSED RUN OUT!

David Warner survives run out. Imam-ul-Haq fails to hit the stumps. A golden chance missed by the Pakistan side early on in the innings. Earlier Warner got off the strike with a six off Mohammad Amir's bowling. AUS - 6/0 in 1 over

A disappointing show by the visitors!

Pakistan will surely be disappointed with that show as they only manage 106/8 at the end of 20 overs. Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Hasnain remain unbeaten on 9 and 4 respectively. Kane Richardson emerges as the leading wicket-taker from the Australian camp.

WICKET!

Kane Richardson picks up another wicket in the same over and this time it's Shadab Khan who will take the long walk back to the pavilion. It was a slower length ball outside off and he plays a simple catch to Aaron Finch at mid-off.

ftikhar Ahmed's innings come to an end!

The lone hope for Pakistan, Iftikhar Ahmed is sent back to the pavilion. He misses out on his half-century by five runs but what an innings under pressure. Meanwhile, Kane Richardson scalps his second of the night as another batsman falls victim to the short ball. The batsman tried to clear the ropes on the on side but the ball is caught right in front of the boundary ropes. PAK: 92/7 (16.1 overs)

What a catch!

What a catch! Australia are ruling the proceedings in Perth as Sean Abbott picks up his second wicket of the match. It seems like Pakistan are not learning their lesson here.  A short delivery and Imad Wasim went for the pull, the ball connects to his upper part of the bat and it goes up in the air and Agar runs from deep mid-wicket and dives in to complete the catch. Imad departs after scoring 6 from 6 balls. PAK: 88/6 (14.3 balls)

Half the team sent packing!

Kane Richardson is brought into the attack and he strikes in his first delivery. A good length delivery angling towards the batsman and Khushdil Shah tried to play it across the line. However, the ball takes a top-edge and balloons up in the air. Alex Carey shouts for the catch but it is too far from the wicket-keeper. In the end, Mitchell Starc runs forward and takes a simple catch to send the batsman back to pavilion on 8 off 11 balls. PAK: 69/5 (12.1 overs)

Haris Sohail bites the dust!

Just when things were going smoothly for the visitors, Haris Sohail falls to the pressure. Ashton Agar with a slow delivery and Sohail goes for the inside out but fails to get a proper connection as his shot lands straight into the hands of Kane Richardson at long-off. He returns after scoring 8 off 16 as PAK are reduced to 54/4 after 9.1 overs.

Australia dominate powerplay!

Australia dominate the powerplay as visitors lose their top three inside the first six overs. Haris Sohail and Iftikhar Ahmed are out in the middle as Pakistan reach 34/3 at the end of six overs.

Sean Abbott joins the party!

Sean Abbott joins the party and this time its Imam-ul-Haq who has to take the long walk back to the pavilion. He departs after scoring 14 off 15 balls. It was short delivery and Iman went for an attacking shot, only to mistime it. The ball clips the bat and flies up in the air before landing safely in the arms of Ben McDermott at square leg. PAK: 22/3 (4.3 overs)

Starc is on fire!

Mitchell Starc is on fire as he cleans up Mohammad Rizwan in the very next ball. The batsman was beaten up by the pace as it was coming at a soaring speed of 140.2 kph and goes between his bat and pads to knock off the stump. Pakistan are in deep trouble as they are reduced to 15/2 after 2.3 overs.

Babar goes!

A ball after smashing Mitchell Starc for a boundary on the off-side, the Pakistan skipper is trapped LBW on the following delivery. It was a full delivery and Babar tried to smash it across the line. However, he fails to connect as the bat hits his pad. The batsman goes upstairs for a review but TV replay confirms that the ball was pitched on the line and was striking the line. Babar departs after scoring 6 off 7 balls. PAK: 15/1 (2.2 overs)

Imam, Babar start cautiously!

Openers Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam have taken a cautious approach as the duo fetch 9/0 at the end of two overs. While Imam is batting on 7 off seven balls, Babar has scored 2 from five deliveries.
