Team India opener Murali Vijay was back in the nets after he was ruled out of the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle.
In a video posted on Facebook, the Tamil Nadu player can be seen practicing his trademark cover drives.
The 31-year-old picked up a niggle on the tour to Zimbabwe and the team management didn’t consider him fit for the series opener against Lanka.

In Galle, India fielded KL Rahul in his place, but with Shikhar Dhawan ruled out with a hairline fracture, Vijay’s comeback into the side can not be ruled out.
