England end Day 3 of the third Test at 120 for no loss after Alastair Cook and Alex Hales register fifties to their names.

England 120 for no loss at the end of day 3. Skipper Alastair Cook 64* and Alex Hales 50* guided the hosts to an astonishing start after Pakistan captain Misbah-Ul-Haq’s fifty and Sarfraz Ahmed’s 46 not out left Pakistan in a strong position at tea. Pakistan was bowled out for 400 in reply to England’s
first innings 297, a significant lead of 103 runs. Hosts lead by 17 runs with 10  wickets in hand, with two more days to go for a result.
