England manage to clinch three Pakistan wickets as the visitors end Day 2 at 257.

Pakistan end their Day 2 of the third Test match at 257 after losing three wickets. Azhar Ali’s wicket means, the visitors will start Day 3 with a new batsman in the middle. Pakistan team still trails by 40 runs, after Azhar Ali’s 139 and Sami Aslam at 82. Younis Khan who is batting at 21 not out will be joined by skipper Misbah-Ul-Haq. Both the batsman’s will try to put up a strong partnership to put England under Pressure. Four-match Test series is level up as both the teams have one match each at Lord’s and Manchester respectively.

Sohail Khan marked his return to Test cricket after a five-year absence with a maiden five-wicket haul as Pakistan dismissed England for 297 on the first day of the third Test at Edgbaston.

Pakistan medium pacer Sohail Khan was playing just his third Test when he started the run up in Birmingham against England during the third encounter of the series. He had an impressive record in domestic cricket with 91 wickets in the 2007-08 season when he was 18 and was selected for the national side.
