Gill and Rohit will begin the chase now and Asitha Fernando will open the attack. After a dot to start, Rohit smashes the second ball out of the ground for a massive 6!! Seam movement next and Sharma takes a single to put Gill on strike. Short ball next and Gill almosts deposits it into the hands of the fielder but it just falls short. Outside edge for Rohit next and that has gone to the boundary as well!! India are not hanging about. A dot to end. IND 12/0 after 1 over

Wicket - little bit turning. I knew it was turning, so I tried to play my normal game. The wicket was slow and I tried to sweep the ball and rotate the strike. They (India) have a good batting line-up but 231 is a good score. We have No. 1 bowler - Wanindu Hasaranga - and good fast bowlers. We can give a good fight. Not easy to bat on. With good bowling partnerships and dot balls, it's not easy to bat here.

Dunith Wellalage has provided Sri Lanka life for a fightback. The hosts were down and out at 101 for five when the 21-year-old walked out to bat. The left-hander was visibly fidgety at the start, missing out a horde of slog-sweeps against the spinners. However, Wellalage bid time watchfully before progressively taking down the bowlers with boundaries, eventually adding up to seven fours and two sixes.

Arshdeep will close out the innings. A couple of singles to start the over. Arshdeep to Akila, OUT! Slower bouncer outside off-stump and Akila ramps it straight up to backward point. Mohamed Shiraz is the new batter. He opens his account on debut with a brisk single. Siraj sends in a bumper and Wellalage makes room and ramps the ball expertly past third for FOUR! Siraj follows up with a yorker and Wellalage works it through mid-wicket for a single. Another bouncer and Wellalage wallops it over backward square-leg for SIX! SL 222/7 in 49 overs

Slower-bouncer from Arshdeep and Wellalage waits an eternity to tap it towards slips for a single. FIFTY for Wellalage, his maiden ODI half-century. After starting off rather streakily, Wellalage has recovered brilliantly to lead Sri Lanka's rearguard fight. Slower delivery on length and Dananjaya arches back to ramp the ball over Rahul for FOUR.

Room outside off-stump from Siraj and Dananjaya flays the ball behind point for FOUR. A single brings up Sri Lanka's 200. Six from the over as Dananjaya opts to hold his ground.

Short ball and Wellalage heaves the ball to the deep but does not take a single after Dananjaya held ground for four deliveries. A single to finish the over.

Arshdeep pins the ball into the blockhole and Wellalage does exceptionally well to dig that out from the stumps. He finds a single, leaving Dananjaya on strike. A couple of short deliveries and Wellalage fails to connect the ramps over the keeper. Length from Arshdeep and Wellalage clobbers it over long-on for SIX! SL 192/7 in 45 overs

Rohit has brought back Sundar. Short ball outside off-stump and Wellalage smears it past Kohli in the deep for FOUR on the off-side. Straighter line and Sundar nearly squares up Wellalage before he gets his bat down in time. A single to follow. SL 183/7 in 43 overs

Arshdeep returns for his fifth over. He tails the ball into Wellalaga, cramping him up around the pads. Arshdeep strays to the pads and Wellalage flicks it fine for FOUR. A single to follow. Arshdeep to Hasaranga, OUT! Straight to the fielder! Width on offer and Hasaranga frees his arms for a slash and it flies straight to the point fielder.
