Rohit has hit 398 sixes in his international career so far – 232 sixes in ODIs, 51 in Tests and 115 in T20Is.
Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been India’s most incisive bowler in the ongoing series, is also on the verge of an elite record. His two wickets in the last T20I took his T20I career haul to 49 wickets. Another wicket would make him only the third Indian bowler to take 50 T20I wickets.
Ravichandran Ashwin has 52 T20I wickets and Jasprit Bumrah has 51 T20I wickets. If Chahal manages to take four wickets, he will surpass Ashwin to become India’s leading wicket-taker in the format.
India bounced back in Rajkot with a 7-wicket victory after Bangladesh upset the hosts in the first match in New Delhi. The teams will clash for a series decider in Nagpur on Sunday.
