India vs Bangladesh 1st Test, Day 3 Highlights: Owing Mayank Agarwal's 243 and Mohammed Shami's all-round seven wicket-taking display, India won their sixth consecutive Test.

India vs Bangladesh (IND vs BAN) 1st Test, Day 3 Highlights: India drew first blood in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh after beating the visitors by an innings and 130 runs on Day 3 of the first Test at the Holkar International Stadium in Indore on Saturday.

After India declared on 493/6 right at the start of the day, Bangladesh were forced on their backfoot from the start itself. Wickets kept falling left, right and centre with only Mushfiqur Rahim (64) providing some kind of hope at Tea when they were on 191/6 with Rahim forming a partnership with Mehidy Hasan (38). But in the third session, India scalped four quick wickets to register a big win on the third day itself. Mohammed Shami registered his third career-best 4-31, and Ravichandran Ashwin ended with figures of 3/42.

    Ravichandran Ashwin gets the ninth and its utter jubilation! Mushfiqur Rahim went for the maximum and he just falls short, as he is caught by Cheteshwar Pujara. The wicketkeeper-batsman departs on 64 from 150 balls. BAN are 208/9 after 67.5 overs.

    And Mohammad Shami gets his fourth wicket of the innings! Taijul Islam couldn't gauge the pitch of the delivery well, and he lifts it up awkwardly and gets caught by Wriddhiman Saha. BAN are 208/8 after 66.3 overs.

    A glimmer of hope for Bangladesh as the seventh-wicket partnership between Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan gets past 50 runs. Rahim with a half-century and Hasan nearing one. India need four wickets to win this Test. Bangladesh still trail by 152 runs. BAN are 191/6 after 54 overs.

    Ashwin strikes, Liton Das departs

    So finally, Bangladesh's last hope of revival shattered when Ashwin sent Liton Das for 35 (39). Ashwin trapped him in a soft dismissal when he caught and bowled! Bangladesh 135/6, trail by 208 runs.
