India and Pakistan are set to resume cricketing ties in December when both the sides will play a bilateral series in Sri Lanka.

IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla confirmed that the India-Pakistan series will take place from December 15 in Sri Lanka, a neutral venue.

“India-Pakistan series will happen tentatively from December 15 in Sri Lanka,” Shukla was quoted by the ANI on the sidelines of the Parliament’s winter session.

By Thursday night, however, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) was yet to give any clearance to the Indian board.
