During his days as an India opener, Virender Sehwag always seemed unfazed with the situation or the bowler in front of him. His ‘see the ball hit the ball’ technique vindicated his swag and it came to the fore once again in an apt reply to his ex-India colleague VVS Laxman who wanted a triple hundred from the Nawab of Najafgarh.
“1st Match after announcing his retirement @virendersehwag gets a brilliant 100.Wld love if he can sign off with a 300👍😊 #MemoriesForever,” tweeted VVS Laxman soon as the news of the Delhi Dashers’s ton broke.

Then came Viru’s reply.
“@VVSLaxman281 laxman ji domestic mein 300 banana it’s not easy. They put all the fielder on the the line after my 50,” shot back Viru.

Sehwag announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Tuesday and 48 hours later he scored a ton against Ranji champions Karnataka in Mysuru.
