Cricket South Africa’s official Facebook page was hacked in the late hours of Tuesday. The page was flooded with posts with adult content and attracted plenty of trolls on social media.

The page managers spotted the “hack” but the damage had already been done. The posts shot out were both racist and explicit in nature, and the managers doused fire by deleting them moments after regaining control.

In a series of Tweets, CSA apologised profusely saying they have now put measures in place to ensure that nothing of this nature happens again.
