Rishan Hossain significantly improved his bowling. His wrong'un is now sharper and his flipper has more pace. He has a better ability to control the speed of his deliveries and make the ball drift in the air. Most importantly, he has mastered the art of making the ball dip, which is a key skill of top-tier spinners because it makes it difficult for batsmen to accurately judge the length of the delivery. Despite an occasional high economy rate in T20s, this ability to dip the ball is highlighted as his most valuable asset.

“The first time I picked the ball, I gripped it like a leg-spinner. It came naturally to me, and I stuck with it,” Rishad said in an interview with Daily Star. He is the captain at the moment, so the team will definitely look towards him, but they look towards him too much. They have a tendency of choking in big moments,” said Chopra.

“If we look at it in 2025, they have very few batters whose strike rates are close to 150. You see just one or two above 140. They are not a team that is looking for 210-220. They are a team that is very comfortable with a 160-180 total. If the opposing team decides to hit a lot, they might not have any answers,” he added.
