Pakistan vs Australia 2nd ODI, Highlights: PAK beat AUS by nine wickets to level the series 1-1

Pat Cummins (Australia Captain): "It wasn't one of our best days. We were at worst unfortunately. You hope to get above 160 but they bowled well. We will have some conversations about it. Still felt there was some seam movement in there. You try to attack and hope for the best but it wasn't meant to be. I'll leave it to him (Josh Inglis). Just had a few conversations but he's an experienced player and I'm sure he'll do a fine job. We have got a week at home. Get the red ball in hand and get some center-wicket practice before the first Test at Perth."

Babar Azam wins it with a six. Pakistan thrashed Australia by nine wickets to level the three-match ODI series.

Tossed up by Zampa, Shafique dances down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and smokes it with a nice swing of the bat over the long on fence for a maximum.

At the end of 24 overs, Pakistan are 148 for 1. Pakistan need 16 runs to level the three-match ODI series 1-1. 

Abdullah Shafique completed his fifth half-century. He has reached 50 in just 57 balls. Pakistan need 23 runs to level the series 1-1.   

A wicket at the end for Australia but its too little too late for the Aussies as Saim Ayub departs for 82. A sensational knock from the Pakistan left-handed opener who receives a standing ovation from the crowd as well as from the Pakistan camp.

Now Abdullah Shafique has joined the act. He is dealing in sixes now. 

That's some six-hitting from Saim Ayub. Fifth six of the innings by the young left-handed batter. Ayub has not moved into 70s now. Pakistan need 53 runs to win the match.

100 comes up for Pakistan as well as the opening stand in style as Saim Ayub hits his fourth six of the Innings.

Saim Ayub gets a life. Zampa drops a simple catch on the boundary. Pakistan need 75 runs to win the match.

Overpitched at the stumps from Pat Cummins. Saim Ayub stepped down the track, and sliced it over cover point for a boundary to end the over. Second boundary for the southpaw. Pakistan need 125 runs to level the series.  

Punched! Confident shot from Saim Ayub. He breaks the shackles and finally finds the gap. First boundary for Pakistan after seven overs. Pakistan are 34 for 0 after eight overs. Pakistan need 130 runs to level the series.  

A direct hit would have been interesting. Jake Fraser-McGurk missed it by miles and Pat Cummins at mid-on has got no chance of backing it up. Five overthrows for Pakistan. Pakistan need 138 runs to level the series 1-1. 

Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood has kept it very tight from both the end. Pakistan openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shaifque has shown great composure as well. Pakistan need 144 runs to level the three-match series. 

A gift from Mitchell Starc. He strayed down the pads and Abdullah Shafique gets off the mark with a boundary. Easy pickings for Abdullah Shafique, who flicks it away through mid-wicket for a boundary. Pakistan are 8 without loss after the first over.

"Thanks a lot first of all. Well, I know these conditions really well as I have played for the Melbourne Stars. Yeah, I knew we needed wickets so I am really happy to perform well for my side. Yeah obviously, I am playing four-day cricket for Pakistan so why not. I am ready to play Test Cricket for Pakistan. I am really happy with my performance. I was targeting the hard length and it worked out well for me today."

A disciplined bowling performance from Haris Rauf (5/29) and Shaheen Shah Afridi (3/26) helped Pakistan restrict Australia to 163 runs in the second ODI at the Adelaide Oval. Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan took six catches behind the stumps. For Australia, Steve Smith was the top scorer with 35 runs. Pakistan did drop four catches but Australian batters couldn't make the most out of it.  

Shaheen Shah Afridi picks up the last wicket and cleans up Adam Zampa. It was Afridi's third wicket. Australia are bowled out for 163. The last wicket has put on a valuable 17 runs.

Another misjudgement. Another chance goes down, a tough one. Afridi from fine leg runs to his left and puts his left hand out. It hits him on the palm and fails to grab it. It trickles away to the ropes and 150 comes up for Australia.

Cummins sits back, waits for short ball and goes for the pull, doesn't get the connection right but gets enough to clear Hasnain at mid-on who runs back and puts in a dive to pull it back. He has saved two runs for his team. What a scintillating effort by Hasnain. Australia are 145 for 8 after 31 overs. 

Cummins goes big, he has whacked it over mid-on for a big six. Naseem has pitched it up, Cummins opens his front foot and swings it straight over the bowlers head for a maximum.

Haris Rauf continues to take wickets. Brilliant captaincy from Rizwan to bring the speedster back into the attack and Rauf delivers. Hardie never looked comfortable at the crease and falls after scoring 14 runs. Captain Pat Cummins walks in to bat at No 8. 

At the end of 25 overs, Australia are 120 for 5. Haris Rauf is back into the attack. 

A reverse sweep from Maxwell and it goes for a six. Brilliant shot from Maxwell. 

At the end of 23 overs, Australia are 111 for 5. Australia will need a blinder from Aaron Hardie and Glenn Maxwell to get out of this hole. 

Hasnain strikes. He gets his first wicket, Steve Smith walks back as Australia lose their fifth wicket. Edged and a regulation catch for Rizwan behind the stumps. Half of the Australian side is back in the hut with only 101 on the board. Justice for Hasnain as a ball before Smith survived a close LBW call after it was given UMPIRES CALL on wickets.

Not a great delivery from Hasnain. He offered the width and Steve Smith puts it away behind the backward point for four. The boundary also bring Australia's 100. 

Mohammad Hasnain has been right on the money. He has kept one end tight. After the end of 19 overs, Australia are 93 for 4. The hosts will be banking on Steve Smith to help them get to a good total. 

At the end of 17 overs, Pakistan are 88 for 4. Aaron Hardie has joined Steve Smith in the middle.

Another one bites the dust. Haris Rauf has got the wicket of Marnus Labuschagne's wicket. Rauf has Labuschagne for the second time in the series. The speedster is absolutely pumped up.

Pakistan have chipped away with three wickets after their captain Mohammad Rizwan opted to ball after winning the toss. Shaheen Shah Afridi has removed both the openers Matt Short and Jake Frasr-McGurk. Haris Rauf removed Josh Inglis. Steve Smith after getting a life is looking good with Marnus Labuschagne giving him the company in the middle.

At the end of 15 overs, Australia are 85 for 3. 

Haris Rauf breaks the dangerous-looking partnership. Josh Inglis is strangled down the leg-side. It brushes his gloves and Rizwan takes a good catch behind the stumps. Chris Gaffaney raises the finger and Inglis doesn't bother to review it.

First Maximum of the match and it has come from the bat of Steve Smith. Hasnain pitches it short and Smith whacks it over long leg. Australia are 78 for 2 after 13 overs.

Another one that has been put down by Pakistan. This time Saim Ayub at the point and it has raced away to the boundary. Steve Smith survives.

At the end of 10 overs, Australia are 59 for 2. Steve Smith and Josh Inglis have put on 18 runs for the third wicket. 

Delightful shot to end Hasnain's first over as the 50 comes up for Australia at the end of 9 overs. Steve Smith is looking dangerous, he has hit his rhythm. 

Shaheen Shah Afridi gets another one. It was a loosener from Shaheen and Short smacked it straight to Babar Azam at cover point, who takes a sharp catch. Shaheen Afridi has removed sends both the Australian openers. 

Hold that pose, Steve Smith! A gift from Naseem Shah and Smith gets on the mark with a ferocious cut shot. Smith then hits a lovely cover drive to his back-to-back fours off Naseem Shah. Poor bowling from the Pakistan speedster. 

Australia are 41 for 1 after 6 overs 

After five overs, Australia are 30 for 1. Matt Short has continued to play his shots despite being dropped. Steve Smith is yet to open his account. 

Shaheen Shah Afridi has caught 11 catches in the ODIs and has dropped 12. 

Shaheen Shah Afridi has dropped a sitter and to add insult to the injury, it trickles away to the ropes for four runs.  Shaheen was signing autographs in between deliveries. Matt Short found the only fielder in the deep on the leg side and Shaheen Shah Afridi drops a dolly.
