* It was Kohli’s 4th International hundred at the Adelaide Oval in his 7 innings. Previously he scored centuries in both the innings in Adelaide Test against Australia in December 2014.
* Kohli’s 107 is also a record of highest individual score in all the India-Pakistan clashes at the World Cup. Previously Sachin Tendulkar’s 98 in Centurion in 2003 was the highest.
* Kohli scored his 22nd ODI hundred at Adelaide on Sunday and is now at par with Sourav Ganguly who also has 22 hundreds to his name. Sachin is the only Indian to have more ODI hundreds than Kohli.
* India’s total of 300/7 is the highest total ever achieved in an India-Pakistan World Cup match. Previously India’s 287 at Bangalore in 1996 World Cup was the highest.
