Miami Heeat need one win to break a tie with the 1998-99 New York Knicks for most wins by a No. 8 seed in NBA playoff history.
The Knicks went 12-8 in the playoffs that season on their way to the NBA Finals. The Heat are 12-7 so far in these playoffs after Game 1.
One of the reasons for their Game 1 defeat was Miami Heat's shooters struggling.
Caleb Martin was 1 from 7 in field goals while Max Strus was 0 from 10.

As you'd expect, it's Jimmy Butler doing most of the scoring for the heat with five points while Aaron Gordon with eight points has almost scored as many points as the entire Miami side.

The Finals will see a match-up bwtween a team that ranked 10 spots higher on offense in the regular season (the Denver Nuggets) vs a team that ranked 16 spots higher on defense (the Miami Heat).
While a lot has been made of the fact that the Miami Heat have come to the Finals this season after surviving the Play-ins, the Nuggets have emerged from the Western Conference after overcoming the Phoenix Suns -- with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker -- in the Western Conference semifinals, and then the LA Lakers with LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the Western Conference Finals.
