As the two – PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal – stepped up on the court, the contest and the see-saw battle was on from the word go. The duo played some remarkable points which enthralled the capacity crowd and the numerous dignitaries in attendance. As they shook hands at the net prior to a massive shriek by Saina, she had emerged 21-17, 27-25 victorious converting her sixth match point opportunity. Later many applauded both the ladies for a euphoric contest and Saina for winning the title.
