Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal clinched the Australian Open Super Series title in Sydney on Sunday. Pundits and sports personalities from all over the country heaped praise on the 26-year old’s achievement.
Virat Kohli too took to social media to congratulate the Hyderabad girl for the win. Kohli wrote on his twitter page: “Congratulations @NSaina So happy for you. Onwards and Upwards always #ProudIndian.”

She notched up the win in final against Sun Yu of China. She will now carry India’s hopes at the Rio Games, to be held in August.
