Bihar: Congress backs Nitish Kumar as CM candidate

"Nitish has done a lot of developmental work. He can be a good CM,” said Bihar PCC chief Ashok Chowdhary.

The Congress has lent support to the JD(U) demand that Nitish Kumar be projected as the CM candidate in Bihar for the Assembly election. “Lalu can’t contest polls because of a constitutional issue. Nitish has been a good CM. He has done a lot of developmental work. He can be a good CM,” said Bihar PCC chief Ashok Chowdhary.
