1 dead as gunmen fire at group celebrating NDA victory

Some unidentified gunmen fired at a group of people celebrating NDA's victory in Bihar elections.

One youth died and four others were seriously injured on Wednesday when some unidentified gunmen fired at a group of people celebrating NDA’s victory in Bihar elections at Chakwali village here,police said.

The people were celebrating the victory on the streets when the gunmen reached the spot,fired at them and fled,they said.

While a 20-year-old died on the spot,the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital where their condition was stated to be critical,police said.

Meanwhile,a report from Munger said a 12-year-old boy was injured when some unidentified people fired at a victory procession of JD(U) candidate Shailesh Kumar at Bariarpur under Jamalpur Assembly constituency.

The boy was rushed to a hospital in Munger.
