How can you make Navratri dishes even more attractive and tasty for kids? Treat your kids to a yummy kuttu atta (buckwheat) pizza or a chaat by following these recipes.
Kuttu pizza by Chef Anurag Saxena
1 sliced tomato, 3-4 caps of mushroom, 2 dried leaves of spinach, 100 gm paneer 1 tsp red chili flakes, 1 tsp butter, sendha namak (rocksalt) as needed, 1 ½ tbsp oil, 100 grams kuttu
Make a roti from kuttu dough.
Heat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
Take the kuttu roti and spread cheese and butter on it.
Top it with tomatoes, spinach and paneer.
Bake the bread for about 15 minutes. Enjoy kuttu pizza.
Kuttu papdi aur kele ki chaat by Akshay Bhardwaj
100 gm kuttu atta, 3 gm sendha namak (rocksalt), 15 gm ghee, 200 gm sweet yogurt, 20 tamarind chutney, 15 gm coriander chutney, 30gm boiled potato, 5 gm pomegranate
For papdi, knead kuttu atta with sendha namak, water and ghee.
Make flat patties of the dough of the size of papdi and rest on the side.
Heat up oil and deep fry to crisp texture.
On the platter, add hand mashed boiled potato and kuttu papdi.
Top it with sweet curd, tamarind chutney and coriander chutney.
Garnish with pomegranate and chopped coriander.
