A small plane crashed Sunday afternoon in southern Pennsylvania, leaving a fiery wreck in an airport parking lot, according to officials and video of the aftermath.

The small aircraft went down just south of the Lancaster Airport shortly after 3 p.m., according to an official with the Manheim Township Police Department.

Information about injuries or fatalities was not immediately available.

Footage shared on social media showed black smoke billowing from the wreckage of the plane and multiple vehicles engulfed in flames.
