The body of Lance Naik Roy Mathew was buried here Saturday after conducting a fresh autopsy. Mathew’s family members had refused to receive the body when it reached Thiruvananthapuram airport from Mumbai. Suspecting foul play in his death, the relatives sought a second postmortem in Kerala. They said there were marks of beating on his feet and blood clots in other parts of the body. The second postmortem was held at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital after the family petitioned the Kollam district collector.
