As nominations for the Assembly elections began in Uttarakhand on Thursday,the Samajwadi Party declared candidates for 16 more constituencies in the state. Till now,the party has declared candidates for 50 seats of Uttarakhand.
In the latest list,SP has restored the ticket of Abdul Gaffar from Ramnagar constituency of Nainital. Gaffars candidature was cancelled by the party earlier this week and Mohammad Sami was fielded instead. The party has again changed the candidate in Gadarpur constituency of Udhamsinghnagar,from where Shaheroom Khan alias Tony Pathan was fielded by the party in place of Bali Ahmed. The party has now fielded Rajendra Kumar Sabbarwal from the seat.
The remaining candidates list will be declared within the next two days, said Rajendra Chaudhary,party spokesperson and in charge of Uttarakhand.
